My name is Julie Davis, and I am the special education teacher for Elkhart Middle School, grades 5-8. This is my fourth year at EMS. Having lived in Emporia, Kansas, for over 30 years, my husband, Keith, and I moved to Elkhart to be pastors of the Elkhart Church of the Nazarene. I had taught with Flint Hills Special Educational Cooperative for 15 years. I love the challenge of learning new strategies which help students learn, be successful, and develop to their greatest potential. I hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Emporia State University. My husband and I have two grown daughters and four precious grandchildren, and we are expecting a fifth grandchild in August. My favorite past-time is spoiling my grandchildren and being with family. I also enjoy reading, growing a flower garden, and watching football.
You can contact me by phone, 697-2197, during my planning time, 1:00 to 1:50 or by email jdavis@usd218.org.
