Take care of going to the restroom and getting a drink before coming into the classroom. Please be in your seats with your notebook open to your DOL and your pencils sharpened when it is time to begin class.  We will do the Daily Oral Language warm-up every day as a way to get the class on task. Next we will read in our theme books. After you come back from lunch and P.E. we will have a reading lesson or a Shirley lesson. The last ten minutes of class will be AR time. Always remember to bring an AR book to class.

Communicating with parents will be done by phone and e-mail. After the AR goals are set at the first of the year I will contact each parent and discuss the goals with them.
