December 07, 2007

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance in 1972 and a Masters in 1991.  I was certified in elementary education in 1978.  I have taught for 27 years, teaching third and fifth grades and physical education.  Along with teaching I have coached volleyball, basketball, track, and softball.  Coaching achievements include being named Softball Coach of the Year by the Kansas Coaches Association and the National Federation of Coaches Association.  The first five years of our high school softball program, we participated in the state tournament four of the five years and captured the state title in 2002.  I have two daughters, Glenda and Sara, and they reside in Denver, Colorado.  Hobbies include walking, quilting, and reading.
