Key Club News September 2010

Students had various work opportunities for community service this summer including Kiwanis Flags, Morton Co. Fair Departments and Mt. Co. Historical Society Museum’s Grassland Heritage Festival & Kiddie Karnival, and also the Mt. Co. Health Fair.
Key Club will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday during September—with officers only meeting on 9/9 during Homeroom at 3:13 p.m. in Mrs. Brown’s room.  The 2010-2011 Key Club Officers are:  Lindsey W., President; Tanesha C., Vice-President; Levi C., Secretary; Dannah W., Treasurer; and Miranda B., Alternate Officer.  The officers will discuss fundraising and causes, and also turn in their summer community service hours.  

Any interested high school student who has at least five signed community service hours turned in to Mrs. Brown may attend the meeting on 9/23 during Homeroom in the HS Library.
Key Club District Convention is in Wichita on April 1-3, 2011 this year and International Convention will be in Phoenix, AZ in July, 2011.
