MR. MORRISON’S CLASS TALKS WITH AUTHOR JIM STOVALL

Students in Mr. Morrison’s 4th grade have read many good books this year. One of the books, ”The Ultimate Gift” taught the students valuable life lessons. The students were amazed to find out that author Jim Stovall is blind. Mr. Stovall has overcome his blindness and is a successful businessman and author of numerous books. Mr. Stovall was gracious and allowed us to have a conference call with him. The students had many questions for him and he gave them some very good things to think about. Mr. Stovall was very inspirational for the students.
Faced with the challenge of total blindness, Jim Stovall has gone on to become a National Olympic weightlifting champion; an Emmy Award winner; the President and Co-Founder of Narrative Television Network; and a world-renowned author and speaker.
