EHS Wildcat Band Fares Well at State

The Elkhart Wildcat Band attended the KSHSAA State Large Group Festival at Dodge City High School on Wednesday, April 14, 2010. The band performed two pieces for a panel of three judges who scored bands on a scale from I-V. The three scores from the judges were then averaged for each band's overall score. Last year, the EHS Band received a III (Average performance) rating. This year, all three judges gave the Wildcat Band II (Outstanding) ratings. The band worked really hard to prepare for this festival and was pleased with the results. Come to the EHS music department concert on April 28th at 5:00pm in the EHS auditorium to hear the pieces that were performed at contest along with some other really exciting red-carpet tunes!
