EHS Students Qualify for State Music

The EHS music students attended the KSHSAA Regional Music Festival on Saturday, March 27 in Garden City. Despite leaving before 6:00 am, the students performed wonderfully and several qualified for the KSHSAA State Music Festival. Instrumental Soloists were Magen W. on alto sax, Jasmine S. on bassoon, Josielyn A. on bass clarinet and Seth W. on French horn. Magen and Josielyn received Superior (I) ratings and will be attending the State Music Festival in Concordia, KS on April 23 & 24. Vocal soloists attending the Regional contest were Katie A., Lindey B., Kristin C., Jamie E., Clayton R., Tyler S., Magen W., and Ambar Y. Qualifying for state with Superior ratings were Katie, Lindey, Jamie, Tyler and Magen. Katie, Jamie, Lindey and Tyler also performed a vocal quartet and qualified for state with a Superior rating. Congratulations to all students who participated and good luck at State!
