EMS Students Qualify for State Science Fair

Preston B. and Marshal W. attended the Regional Science and Engineering Fair in Liberal on March 6th held at the Seward County Community College campus. They place third in the 7th and 8th grade Environmental Division. They also qualified to go to State Science and Engineering Fair which is to be held in Wichita at the Friends University campus on March 26 and 27. Their project, "Corn Vs. Crude", compared the decomposition rates of water bottles made from crude oil with bottles made from corn oil.
