EHS Art Students Show Case Work at Baker's Art Gallery

Baker Art Center And Community Bank are pleased to present the 21st Annual Area High School art Exhibition. The show will run from February 28 - April 3, 2010. Gallery Hours are Tuesday - Friday 9-12, 1-5, Sat. 2-5. 624 N Perishing, Liberal, KS.
Congratulations to Katie S. for winning the:
Community Bank of Liberal 2010 Distinguished Merit Award at the Bakers Art Center for her fused glass pieces titled "As the Year Changes"
A $50.00 saving bond goes with the award. There only present 8 awards to over 200 pieces of work.
Katie says: "I couldn't live without art, it's very therapeutic to me. I'm not very good with words, so my art is a way to express myself. I like to think my art is different from everyone else because I try to put myself into it. All my work has something to say, and I love that."
