Lady Cats 8th basketball team added two more wins to end play in December. On the 10th the team traveled to Lakin. They had a slow start the first quarter only scoring 8 points. The Lady Cats then pulled together and put the game away 41-16. Victoria Fullerton had 14 for the scoring high of the game.
Then on the 14th they dominated Southwestern Heights on home court. They took control of the game from the jump ball outscoring Heights 20-2 in the first quarter. In the third quarter foul trouble set in and the Cats only scored four points. Fourth quarter they pulled themselves back together and ended the game 52-14. Addie Lackey was high scorer with 26.
Team members enjoyed the break but also returned to the gym to maintain conditioning for the second half of the season.
The Lady Cats start action for 2010 Thursday the 7th at home against Sublette at 5:00pm.
