Make It a Special Christmas
Project Care Center and Special Care Unit

Ho, Ho, Ho. It is time once again to take up our Santa bags and begin our annual Christmas Project. NHS invites classes, clubs, classrooms, families and individuals to sponsor a Care Center Resident for Christmas.
We have changed a few of the guidelines. We are setting a $20 limit
in the gift giving. If you want to be more generous, we suggest you
take a 2nd or 3rd resident instead of giving more to one. We are
also encouraging small gifts. We have small bags to give each of
you to hold your gifts. We encourage you to decorate the bags and
place your gifts inside.
The other change will be for deliveries. If possible the grade
school, will deliver their gifts with songs. All other sponsors are
asked to give their sacks to NHS, and the NHS members will make the
delivery. It is VERY important to the Care Center that deliveries
all arrive at the same approximate time.
There are 72 residents in the Care Center and Special Care Unit.
Soooooo we need 72 sponsors. If you have a special person that you
would like to sponsor, please get that request in ASAP. As we will
basically match on first come, first serve if there are no special
requests.
If you have any questions, please let me know. The changes that we
have made are do to concerns that have been expressed by the givers
and the recipients of our project. If there are any other areas of
concern, please let us know.
