Dear Parents<
Wow, December is here, and we only have three weeks left until the Holiday Break. We have learned so much so far this year, and I am always surprised what the children remember from the beginning of the year. You should be so proud of how far they have come and how much they have grown up; I know that I am! I want to wish you all a happy and safe holiday, as well as a wonderful New Year.
We are almost finished with our color book, just two more colors white and grey. We will be wearing White on December 11h, and Gray on December 18th.
We will be practicing quite a bit for the Christmas program, and making sure we all know the songs and dances!!! We will also be working on the letters M, N, and O. We will be working on knowing the forest, jungle, and ocean animals. Learning the number sequence of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and labeling first, second, third, last; designs and patterns. We will also be learning the number 6, 7, and 8.; as well as the shape oval.
The attached calendar shows when to wear the particular color, as well as our parties and program.

!!!!REMINDERS!!!!
• It is now getting into the real winter in Kansas, one day warm, one day cold. Please provide your child with a jacket everyday whether it is warm or cold. This helps us with being able to go outside most days.
• Morning session starts at 7:50, afternoon session starts at 11:50 and we will be heading to breakfast/lunch at 8:10 and 12:10. While you are waiting for the doors to be opened, and it is chilly, rainy, or snow, please feel free to wait in the hallway inside the school.
Parent and Child Activity
The parent and child activity this month is the stocking (which is attached to this newsletter). You can glue things on it, color it, etc. Just have fun!!! We do ask that you cut it out before turning it in. Please have that back to us to enjoy by December 12th.
Thank you,
Miss Pape
