EES Presented a Night With the Beach Boys and Beatles

Students in elementary music are continuing to learn new songs
weekly. As they learn new songs they also are introduced to new
musical terms and how to follow or follow music better.
Students in grades 2-4 will have another Talent Day before the end
of the school year. Students may perform alone or in a small group.
They get to choose their own songs and how they will perform. Some
will sing, play piano, guitar, or recorder. Some will even do dance
a interpretation to their music.
Recorders are also continuing in grade 3-4. Learning new notes and
songs will increase their ability to play more difficult
pieces.
The Spring Concert went very well and was enjoyed by all. Songs of
the Beatles and Beach Boys were enjoyed and sung by all attending
the program. Students from pre-K through fourth grade performed in
the high school auditorium to a large audience. Special thanks to
Mr. Thrall who helped save our school pride when he was bullied by
Mr. Richardson and Mr. Lackey. Many thanks to all who were able to
attend the program and hear our young students.
