by Jerry Chrin
April 15, 2009
The Elkhart Grade School Spring music program will be Tuesday,
April 21. The program will begin at 7:00 PM in the EHS Auditorium.
The theme will be “Legends of the ‘60’s:
Beatles and Beach Boys.” Songs from these two popular groups will
be presented for your listening enjoyment.
You will hear many songs including Yellow Submarine, Help, Hey
Jude, She Loves You, Eleanor Rigby, Can’t Buy Me Love, Surfin’USA,
Barbara Ann, Help Me Rhonda, Kokomo, Little Deuce Coupe, and Little
Old Lady From Pasadena. Nearly 30 songs will be sung and you are
sure to hear something that brings back fond memories.
Special clothes will not be necessary for the students.
Kindergarten and fourth grade kids will need to wear shorts and
light colored t-shirts or a summer print shirt. Students in first,
second, and third will wear jeans and a plain white t-shirt.
All students will need to be in their seats by 6:45 PM as the show
is set to start at 7:00 PM. Plan to come a little early to view all
the elementary artwork on display in the auditorium lobby. Mrs.
Harlow and her students have done a great job in creating their
pieces and you will enjoy seeing them.
