Elkhart High School Basketball Girls Headed to State

This year the EHS girls’ basketball team won first at sub-state, which was held in Johnson. This morning the girls departed from the high school to make their journey to Manhattan, where they will be playing in the 2A state basketball tournament. The first game of the tournament they are playing is Thursday March, 12. This game will be against the Olpe Eagles. The girls really appreciate all the support that the community has shown. There was a large turnout at the sub-state tournament in Johnson. The crowd really showed all their support for the girls. This morning as the girls left there was a nice turnout on Main Street to send the girls off to state. If you are unable to attend the game in Manhattan you could still get on all the action. The game will be broadcasted on KGYN and also on channel two. This is capable because of Epic Touch Company. Once again thank you to all of those who have supported the Lady Cats, it has certainly been a memorable season.
