Elkhart Lady Cats are Sub-State Champs

The lady cats are the sub-state champs after beating the Sublette Larks Saturday night 51-35. The cats lead at half time with a score of 26-21 and just kept up the hard work. The lady cats had beat the Syracuse Bulldogs Friday night with a score of 63-36 to send them to the game against Sublette.
The members of the 2009 sub-state champ team consist of Katie Ambrosier, Tiawna Cayton, Alecia Smith, Jalen Espinoza, Audrey Ritter, Lacy Bookstore, Tanesha Cayton, Lauren Carter, Lindsey Walls, Payton Fleming, Afton Lutters, Rene` Boaldin, Helin Demirkol, and Araceli Gonzalez. They are coached by Head Coach Gary Page and Assisted by Coach Julie Scheef and Coach Lana Daves,
