By Shalie Harn

January 30, 2009

Elkhart High School homecoming spirit week will be February 2nd through 6th. Monday February 2nd will be pajama/hush day. On Monday students will be encouraged to wear their pajamas and through out the day they are not encouraged to talk to students in any other grade level. Each student will be given a name tag in their first hour class, if the student speaks to any individual outside of their grade the other student will take their name tag. The class with the most name tags collected at the end of the day will win the competition. Tuesday February 3rd will be shades day. Each student is encouraged to wear their sunglasses to school. Wednesday the 4th is nerd day. Students are able to dress up "nerdy" to gain class points for class competitions. Thursday is the toga day. Students will be able to dress in a toga for the entire day. Please make sure each student is still dressed to the dress code. It is encouraged to wear normal clothes under the toga. Thursday is also the day to decorate the hallways. Hall decorating will be from 6 pm-10 pm. The halls will be judged, also as a competition and will help each class gain points. Friday, homecoming night, February 6th, is orange and black day. Friday is the easiest day to gain class points. Make sure to show your school spirit all through out the week.
