Yearbook … serious ?? Yeah right…

This year our annual staff is working hard to put out a new style yearbook. We started the year out with two returning staff members: Jorie M. (editor) and Payton F. (business manager). Rhetta L., Whitney P., and Kristin C. joined the staff this year. The entire staff went to Garden City to a workshop put on by Jostens. All of the girls came home with a lot of energy and enthusiasm concerning the yearbook for 2008-2009.
Our master plan is to put every student in the USD 218 school
system in the yearbook at least three times. The yearbook staff is
constantly in the halls and at every function the school is having
taking photos in an attempt to meet their goal of three photos per
child.
As for the “serious” pictures that are attached to this article,
yearbook is a class that has many responsibilities… after all our
motto on the wall states:
Yearbook…creating memories that will last a lifetime!
However, yearbook is like a family, and all families should be
able to have fun together. The staff wanted a picture of themselves
on their page this year, so we went out and took several. Your
yearbook staff is composed of five hard working students that are
striving to make the best yearbook possible. Be sure and order your
yearbook on time this year to take advantage of a price break.
