Sports Banquet Awards

On Sunday May 4, 2008 the Elkhart Booster Club hosted the athletics sports banquet. In cross country, the most improved award went to Marcus Irsik and the Wildcat Award went to Alli Harbour. For football, James Walls received the most improved award and the Wildcat Award went to Reggie Hernandez. The Volleyball most improved was Katie Ambrosier and the Wildcat Award was Alecia Smith. The Basketball Wildcat Award was presented to Big Rick Ikeler. Most improved for wrestling was Jonathon Owens and Travis Perkins received the Wildcat Award. The golf team received two Wildcat Awards Blake Hockett and Skyler Houtz were presented with the award. For softball, Lacey Jenkins was Awarded the Most Improved player and the Wildcat Award went to Heidi Smith. Ulises Prieto was presented the Most Improved player while Roman Chavez received the Wildcat Award in baseball. In boys track, James Kelly received the Most Improved and Reggie Hernandez was presented with the Wildcat Award, while for the girls, Stephanie Boaldin was presented with the Most Improved while Heidi Smith received the Wildcat Award. For cheerleading there was two Wildcat awards and they were presented for Heidi Smith and Alli Harbour. The Sportsmanship Award went to Alli Harbour and James Walls while the Athlete of the Year was Heidi Smith and Reggie Hernandez.
