High School Track Competes Well
Support Our Track Teams at home April 8, 10, and 11

The Elkhart Wildcat track team traveled to Sublette on April 1. The Wildcats had a great meet and several placed. Results of the track meet are as follows:
Girls:
4x100m relay: 2nd (Alecia S., Afton L., Stephanie B., and Paige
K.)
4x400m relay: 3rd (Alecia S., Afton L., Stephanie B., and Paige
K.)
Heidi S.: 1st shot put, 2nd discus
Alecia S.: 2nd high jump, 2nd 200m dash
Stephanie B.: 2nd 400m dash
Afton L.: 3rd pole vault, 5th 100m hurdles
Paige K.: 4th 100m hurdles
Boys:
4x100m relay: 3rd (Ivan M. Jordan S., Marcus I., and Travis P.)
4x400m relay: 2nd (Ivan M. Jordan S., Marcus I., and Travis P.)
4x800m relay: 5th (Daniel M. James K., Omar D., and Jonathan
O.)
James K.: 3rd 800m run
Marcus I.: 3rd 110m hurdles, 3rd 300m hurdles
Daniel M.: 6th 3200m run
Travis P.: 2nd pole vault
Jordan S.: 3rd pole vault, 5th 200m dash
Tyler S.: 5th pole vault
The Elkhart High School will be hosting a track meet next week on April 8 and it will start at 4:00 P.M. The schools who will be attending will be Stanton Co, Syracuse, Lakin and Hugoton.
The middle school will also be hosting a track meet on April 10.
Iit will start at 3:00 P.M. Only three schools will be
attending; Hugoton, Wichita Co, and Syracuse.
The High School will be having the Glenn Cunningham relays on April
11 and it will start at 3:00 P.M. The schools who will be coming
will be Hugoton, Ulysses, Meade, Sublette and Stanton Co.
Please come out and support our track teams. It should be great weather to spend at the track April 8, 10, and 11. Hope to see you there
