Elkhart High School is looking forward to opening its doors for Bijou Night 2008. It is a time to showcase the things that are special and valuable at our school: students, facilities and community involvement. It is the desire of Elkhart High School students and faculty to give something back to the community and to say thank you for their support throughout the year.
Bijou Night is for everyone: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, everyone, young and old. Our theme this year will be “Celebrate America,” and we are planning on making this event bigger and better than ever before. The teachers and students will choose a special part of their daily curriculum to present to the community. Instrumental and choral students will present musical performances in the Library Media Center throughout the evening. Hot chocolate and cappuccino along with biscotti made by Mrs. Overstreet’s Gourmet Cooking class will be served in the library.
As a grand finale, a drawing for Elkhart Wildcat sweatshirts will take place in the Library Media Center at the end of the evening. You must be present to win, but we are hoping that you will want to stick around anyway. Please mark March 11, 2008 on your calendars and plan on joining us for Bijou Night as we “Celebrate America.”
