National Honor Society Complete Project

The NHS students have just completed their annual Community Kids project. Enough items to fill a large box were donated by high school students and staff members. NHS students wrapped shoe boxes and filled approximately 35 individual boxes with gifts for kids in the community. The boxes were delivered to the Elkhart Ministerial Alliance for delivery.
NHS is also currently in the midst of organizing the adoption of over 80 care center residents in Elkhart by district students, groups, and staff members. To date, all residents have been adopted, and students will be using monetary donations to purchase additional items needed by the facilities. The response by the district to the project has been positively overwhelming!! We’ll be sure to post an update after the delivery of the gifts to the residents.
