HAMBURGER FRY TO KICK OFF FALL SPORTS

The Elkhart Wildcat Booster Club will kick off the 2007 fall sports season with its Annual Hamburger Fry and Membership Drive. The event will be held at the high school football field Thursday, August 23 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Membership fees are as follows:
Family - $25.00
Single - $10.00
Senior Citizen Couple - $15.00
Senior Citizen Single - $ 7.50
Business Sponsors - $100.00
Booster Members are asked to bring a six-pack of Gatorade to the Hamburger Fry for middle school and high school athletes to have during the fall season as they travel to out of town games.
Other events that will be held this year include a Chili Cook-Off, Ice Cream Social, Golf Tournament and Athletic Banquet. These events help raise funds to purchase equipment or items for the athletic department; purchase additional Gatorade; and provide scholarships to high school seniors who plan to further their education.
Officers for the 2007-08 year are Sharon Lux, president; Patrick Overpeck, vice-president; Joni Hernandez, secretary; ReLinda Shook, treasurer; and Tausha Espinoza, public relations.
